Elopement auf Mallorca: Franessa & Jack zwischen Finca, Felsen und Meer


Kein Zeitplan im Minutentakt, keine Gästeliste, keine Deko-Diskussionen. Franessa & Jack sind aus Chicago (USA) angereist und haben auf Mallorca ganz intim, ohne Gäste, ohne großer Location oder irgendwelcher Traditionen sich das JA-Wort gegeben und in Form eines Elopements geheiratet. Ich durfte dabei sein und alles festhalten, in digital sowie mit einem 35mm Film.

Ein Tag, der genau so war, wie sie ihn sich vorgestellt haben.

Getting Ready in der Finca Ca N’Ai in Sóller



Los ging’s in der Finca Ca N’Ai in Sóller. Erstmal ankommen, Getting Ready, kurz durchatmen. Die Finca liegt mitten in der Tramuntana und hat genau die Ruhe, die man vor so einem Tag braucht.



Und weil ein Elopement nicht nur aus Ceremony besteht, gab’s direkt im Anschluss noch den Anschnitt der Torte. Morgens um 11 Uhr Kuchen? Absolut richtig!

Fornalutx: einfach mal treiben lassen



Danach ging’s nach Fornalutx, eines der schönsten Dörfer der Insel. Wir sind ohne Plan durch die Gassen geschlendert, rauf, runter, um die Ecke, wieder zurück. Genau solche Momente mag ich: kein Posing, kein Skript, einfach zwei Menschen, die zusammen unterwegs sind.

Danach gab’s Lunch, denn mit leerem Magen heiratet es sich schlecht.

Kurzer Halt in den Bergen



Auf dem Weg von Sollér in Richtung Norden der Insel haben wir einen Zwischenstopp in den Bergen eingelegt.

Die Aussicht war einfache in Traum und obwohl nur wenige Minuten dort waren, sind so schöne Bilder dabei entstanden.

Die Ceremony: zu zweit an einer Bucht auf Mallorca



Für die Private Ceremony sind wir an eine Bucht im Norden der Insel gefahren. Direkt auf den Felsen, Meer vor uns, sonst niemand. Franessa und Jack haben sich ihr Eheversprechen gegeben, ganz ohne Gäste. Man hörte das Meeresrauschen, man spürte den Wind und die Sonne auf der Haut.

Und die Zeremonie ist für mich der Kern eines Elopements: Alles ist echt, intim und nichts ist inszeniert.

Zum Abschluss: barfuß ins Wasser



Zum Abschluss ging’s an den Strand. Jack im Anzug, Franessa im Kleid, Schuhe aus und rein ins Wasser. Ob Saum oder Hosenbein nass werden? Völlig egal.

Für mich war das der perfekte Abschluss für diesen Tag.
